Distribution agreement for Vietnam

Azelis has announced its new distribution agreement with Merck in Vietnam. Effective on 1 April 2020, Azelis will distribute Merck Performance Materials’ complete range in Vietnam for personal care, CASE (coatings, adhesives, sealants and elastomers), food & health, and industrial chemicals.

Manufacturer diverts resources to fight virus

UK distribution agreement

Surfachem has been appointed as the official distribution partner for Evonik Dr. Straetmans GmbH (Hamburg, Germany) in the UK & Ireland. Acquisition of naturals screening company agreed

Evonik has concluded a purchase agreement to acquire innovativeHealth Group (innoHealth), with the transaction due to be completed before the end of March. Headquartered at the Scientific Park of Madrid (Spain), innoHealth's technology platforms screen and combine natural ingredients and extracts to generate novel dermocosmetic products with synergistic activities. The company will be part of Evonik's Care Solutions Business Line.

New dates for Suppliers' Day announced

NYSCC Suppliers' Day has been re-scheduled for the autumn, with dates confirmed for September 30-October 1, 2020 at the Javits Center in New York. The event was postponed earlier this week as a result of the global coronavirus outbreak which has created enormous disruption.

Gold CSR rating achieved by distributor

Azelis has revealed that its corporate social responsibility (CSR) performance has been awarded the EcoVadis Gold rating for the second time in a row. Their CSR assessment methodology covers 198 purchasing categories, 155 countries, and 21 CSR indicators.
