French personal care ingredient maker Core Biogenesis has partnered with Italian distributor Faravelli to create Lip Longevity Gloss, a forward-looking formulation concept that explores how biotechnology can be incorporated into lip care.
Developed as a technology showcase for beauty innovators, the concept demonstrates how modern colour cosmetics can evolve beyond aesthetics by integrating biomimetic growth factor technology with advanced hydration and barrier-support ingredients.
At the heart of the formulation is Peauforia, Core Biogenesis' patented Oleosome-FGF-2 technology, a plant-derived biomimetic growth factor platform designed to support skin barrier function and healthy-looking skin.
Combined with hyaluronic acid and luminous mineral pigments, the formulation represents a new category of hybrid beauty products where colour, skin care, and biotechnology converge.
The concept reflects a broader movement across the beauty industry toward biotech-powered beauty, where scientifically advanced ingredients are being incorporated into traditionally cosmetic categories to create products with enhanced functionality and performance.
