Speciality ingredients firm Vertellus has acquired Jarchem Innovative Ingredients of Newark, New Jersey. Terms were not disclosed.
Jarchem supplies specialty ingredients and nature-based products as alternatives to traditional esters, silicones and other products, with applications in personal care and other markets.
Vertellus, which is owned by Pritzker Private Capital, said that this expands its offering of environmentally friendly ingredients and serves a growing global base of customers with cleaner, greener formulations. “Jarchem brings to Vertellus an expanded global base of long-standing customers and a long-tenured management team with substantial technical expertise,” it added.
