Silab has attained EcoVadis platinum status for the fifth time, positioning the French cosmetics active maker among the top 1% of companies worldwide in terms of social and environmental performance in global supply chains.
EcoVadis also assesses companies' 'carbon scores', which measure the performance of their greenhouse gas management systems; Silab has been ranked as a leader in decarbonization.
Jean-Philippe Cosson, Silab general manager for CSR (corporate social responsibility), said: “This new EcoVadis Platinum distinction is the result of our commitment to sustainability and the initiatives of our teams.
“Each one has its own unique flavour and is part of our journey toward improvement.”
Silab’s strategy defining the company's CSR programme and all its actions (in terms of sustainable strategy, development of human potential, responsible sourcing, preservation of the environment and support for the social economy), are available on the eco-designed Actively Caring internet website: https://activelycaring.silab.fr.
