Lubrizol launches Xpozuki sustainable biotech ingredient

Lubrizol Life Science has launched Xpozuki, a biotech ingredient designed to protect against exposome-induced stressors.

The US firm says the all-in-one multiethnic skin, scalp and hair care solution provides exposome protection and repair for beauty that lasts.

“Xpozuki biotech ingredient prevents, defends against and repairs this exposome damage in the skin, scalp and hair. It is sustainably sourced from organic azuki beans known for their detoxifying and antioxidant benefits,” the Ohio company added.

“Thanks to Lubrizol’s biotechnological processes, we have been able to enrich the content of Azukides natural peptides, which have shown to be responsible for the antioxidant effects of the ingredient”.

Lubrizol says testing has shown Xpozuki biotech ingredient to provide skin, scalp and hair protection, defence and repair from exposome damage.

In addition, it offers ,ore protected skin barrier and improved skin appearance, including a more even and brighter skin tone, minimized skin redness and improved surface texture irregularities.

Finally, it is said to improve multiethnic hair vitality with less split ends, improve hair fibre alignment and curl definition, and reduce hair frizz and volume.
