Sustainable Palm, addressing the social and environmental issues associated with Palm Oil (PO) and Palm Kernel Oil (PKO) has been a priority for Croda for over 8 years. The complexities of the PO/PKO derivatives market has been particularly challenging, but we are committed to supporting the physical supply chain by moving to RSPO’s Mass Balance model. This important progressive step allows our customers to purchase material that contributes to the production of sustainable palm oil material, which in time should create momentum towards segregated sustainable PO and PKO derivatives.
