Trade association Cosmetics Cluster UK (CCUK) is to host a one-day psychodermatology conference in Liverpool on 10 September.
‘Bringing Psychodermatology into Personal Care', a combination of lectures, practical sessions, workshops and panel discussions, is designed to appeal to neuroscientists, skin care innovators, regulators, ingredient suppliers and brands.
The speakers include representatives from No. 7, Croda, Unilever and This Works.
In her capacity as director, research and innovation pillar of CCUK, Dr Katerina Steventon (pictured) will chair the event as well as present a practical session on The Art of Science and Touch.
“Psychodermatology explores the dynamic interplay between mind and skin, offering a powerful framework for advancing personal care innovation,” she said.
“This in-person meeting will bring beauty industry professionals together to translate cutting-edge research into actionable product concepts, to clarify the regulatory landscape and to create a shared lexicon, defining terminology from neurocosmetics to emotional beauty.”
The conference takes place between 10am and 4.30pm on 10 September at Spine, Liverpool.
Tickets cost £75 for CCUK members and £150 for non-members, and are available online at https://bit.ly/CCUKConf.
