Provital takes in-cosmetics Korea active ingredient gold

Provital won the gold award in the best active ingredient category at the in-cosmetics Korea 2026 trade show in Seoul.

The Spanish maker took top honours for Intensilk, said to be the first cosmetic active to mimic caloric restriction in adipocytes for an intensive anti-cellulite treatment.

The silver prize was shared between Algaktiv for Algaktiv Vitalys and Givaudan for PrimalHyal NeuroYouth, while Rahn took the bronze award for Calneurin-Sense.

In the functional ingredient category, Solabia subsidiary PolymerExpert was awarded the gold for ViscoPure. The silver went to KCC Silicone for SeraSense RBS, while Ashland took bronze for Stabileze S Polymer.

In the K-Beauty Standout Award, Algaktiv won gold for Algaktiv Exometics G, Givaudan the silver for PrimalHyal NeuroYouth and Provital the bronze for Intensilk.

The K-Innovative Ingredient Award went to Labio for BIO-Placenta target.

In a related development, in-cosmetics Korea organiser RX said this year’s event attracted 20,838 visitors, a 47% year-on-year increase.

The next edition will move to a new venue, Songdo Convensia in Incheon, on 22-24 June 2027.
