Sparkfood welcomes Cobiosa to its portfolio, reinforcing its ambition to become a global leader in natural active ingredients

Sparkfood, the Ingredient Innovation business of Group of Sonae, today announced a long-term strategic partnership with Cobiosa, a Spanish company recognized for its expertise in natural active ingredients with applications in human care, nutraceuticals and beyond.

The partnership marks a new phase of growth for Cobiosa and a further step in Sparkfood’s ambition to build a global leader in natural active ingredients.

Founded by the Thiebaut family, Cobiosa has built a strong reputation for product quality, scientific rigor and trusted partnerships across more than 60 markets. The Thiebaut family will remain involved in the company, with Alberto and Cristina Thiebaut taking on non-executive roles, while Baldomero Falcones continues as Managing Director, ensuring full operational continuity.
