HairRevive[MM+Zn], that combines plant cell culture and a well-known mineral to slow down ageing of the hair and scalp.
HairRevive [MM+Zn] is a new active plant shell made with musk mallow (malva moschata) cells and zinc. Musk mallow is a perennial herbaceous plant famous for its fragrant flowers, commonly used in gardens as an ornamental plant. Zinc is an important mineral necessary in small quantities for the growth of cells, the creation of DNA, building keratin and for the formation of the skin’s structural proteins, which cannot be synthesized by the human body.

This new active plant shell aims to extend the hair growth cycle, thereby helping hair to be kept for longer and preserving its colour.
In vitro tests show a significant effect on key mechanisms involved in the hair growth cycle:
- Maintains cell proliferation by increasing the synthesis of Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF) for a regenerative effect
- Maintains the production of melanin by increasing cyclic Adenosine Monophosphate (cAMP) for a regulating effect on hair colour
- Decreases production of DHT due to a reduction in the activity of 5-alpha reductase for a restructuring effect
- And protects cell functions by reducing oxidation (decrease in MDA) for a protective effect
A clinical study of 20 women from 25 to 45 years old with damaged and dry hair showed an improvement in their hair’s appearance with hair looking shinier and smoother (application once a day, for 28 days).
All tests were carried out with a concentration of 0.5% (20% cells in 80% vegetable glycerine).
HairRevive [MM+Zn] does not contain any preservatives. It can be used in natural and traditional formulations for haircare products (hair treatment, liquid or solid shampoos, serums, masks, etc.) thanks to the 4 forms available (3 liquids and 1 solid – powder).
