German chemical distributor Oqema has formed a supply partnership with Uute Scientific in France and Benelux.
The distribution agreement covers sales and marketing activities in those countries for Uute Scientific’s Re-Connecting Nature humus extract active ingredient.
The Finnish company says Re-Connecting Nature is scientifically proven to stimulate and support the immune system for enhanced skin health, resilience, comfort and appearance.
“Consumers are now looking for health enhancing beauty products with proven clinical efficacy,” added CEO and co-founder Kari Sinivuori.
“We are pioneers in an entirely new category ‘Immunocosmetics’, where beauty and immunity connect.”
Oqema said the addition of Re-Connecting Nature compliments its existing cosmetic and personal care speciality product portfolio.
“These innovative raw materials and sustainable products meet the requests of our customers and the trend of the next generation of specialty chemical ingredients,” added David Lupp, Oqema business development manager for personal care.
