Innovatory systems meet latest needs

Rhodia has strengthened its presence in the hair care and skin care market with the launch of two new high performance systems created to meet end-consumer demands for wellbeing, caring, natural and eco-friendly products and provide greater efficiency and convenience for personal care formulators.

One of the innovations in the specialty cleansing and conditioning segments is Miracare® Plaisant, a new plant-based surfactant system which offers an eco-friendly solution for mild and refreshing cleansing. This performance concentrate is suitable for sulfate-free body washes, shampoos, facial cleansers and liquid hand soaps.

The other innovation is Mirasheen® STAR, a pearliser which delivers outstanding shine and opacity to enhance the pearlescent appearance and texture of personal care products that signal high quality and sensory benefits perceived by the consumer. Mirasheen STAR is suitable for a wide range of white and coloured rinse-off formulations: silky shampoos, nourishing conditioners, liquid hand soaps, moisturising facial and body washes, replenishing masks and exfoliants.

Other recent Rhodia innovations in the hair care and skin care segment are Miracare® SLB and Polycare® Boost.

Miracare SLB, a patented and innovative solution, is a high performance liquid surfactant system that delivers outstanding sensorial benefits for cleansing. Miracare SLB allows formulations to deliver long-lasting moisturising effects and provides unique texture for skin care products from cream to lotion-like, with a dense, rich foam. Polycare Boost, an innovative patented conditioning solution, is suitable for the design of high performing and segmented shampoos and conditioners. This unique liquid polymer-based system delivers perceivable consumer benefits such as enhanced hair shine and suppleness, and a soft, light hair feel effect.
