Univar Solutions has opened its latest ‘solution centre’ at Essen in Germany. This will offer product formulation, benchmark prototyping, product performance testing and efficacy, product analysis, shelf-life testing and other services for multiple industries including personal care.
The company described this as its flagship facility for Europe, as well as one of its largest, covering 700 m2 and featuring including laboratories, a pilot plant, meeting rooms and offices. Among the product applications expected to be developed there are such industry staples as hair care, toiletries, skin care and colour cosmetics.
