Acme-Hardesty, a division of Jacob Stern & Sons, has agreed to be the distribution partner of China’s Green Mountain Biotech (GMB) for the personal care industry in the US. Pennsylvania-based Acme-Hardesty is a distributor of biobased products and speciality ingredients to the industry, as well being a formulator in its own right.
GMB makes “synergistic botanical blends”, notably the Botaniplex line. These are based on traditional Chinese medicine, combined with bacteriology, dermatology, mycology and virology, to develop treatments for skin conditions like acne, eczema and viral infections, by modulating physiological pathways to support skin function.
