Pentapharm, part of DSM, has introduced Alpaflor Alp-Sebum, the new Ecocert certified Alpine treatment that reduces sebum production and the oily appearance of skin as well as the size of pores.
Reducing sebum production
The product range specialises in the cultivation and extraction of Swiss alpine plants to produce high quality extracts. These plants’ daily exposure to strong temperature fluctuations and high UV radiation has forced the species to develop efficient protective factors and it is these characteristics that have found application in skin and hair care ingredients.
