New development for ultra-fluid emulsions

French company SEPPIC has launched two new products that are suitable for ultra-fluid emulsions in wipes applications. When used together, the two products synergistically achieve stability for ultra-fluid formulas at high temperatures.

Being liquid raw materials, FLUIDFEEL 50 (Cetearyl Alcohol & Coco-Glucoside & Cetearyl Glucoside) and SIMULGEL FL (Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium acryloyldiemthyl Taurate copolymer & Isohexadecane & Polysorbate 60) facilitate the development of emulsions over a wide pH range using cold process methods making them the ideal duo for soft and effective wipes.

FLUIDIFEEL 50 is a liquid O/W emulsifier that can emulsify up to 50% oil. Its sensory boosting properties provide a soft and comfortable skin feel characteristic of glucolipid emulsifiers.

Additionally, the product enables improved cleansing power in make-up remover formulas. SIMULGEL FL is an inversed emulsion liquid polymer with resistance to electrolytes that stabilises formulas without increasing the viscosity of the impregnation solution used in wipes applications. Use levels are 5-15% and 0.5-3%, respectively.
