International biodiversity campaign

Brazilian company, Beraca, has launched a global campaign as part of the UNESCO International Year of Biodiversity. Called “Be Truly Natural”, the campaign highlights that although products with natural appeal are in vogue nowadays, it is essential to bring awareness to customers worldwide about the real practices behind the marketing.

The purpose of the campaign is to remind customers and partners genuinely interested in acquiring sustainable raw materials of the importance of buying ingredients coming only from certified sources, which operate in compliance with global principals of nature preservation and social development. Commenting on the campaign, Filipe Sabará, business director for Beraca said: “Beraca is a one hundred per cent Brazilian company and the country’s biodiversity is our main source of raw material. But we believe that simply providing natural active ingredients is not enough. It’s just the beginning of a cycle of social and environmental responsibility, which ranges from planting to marketing.”
