Grant Industries Inc has expanded its line of silicone-in-water dispersions to offer a wider variety of solvent categories. Specifically designed for formulation ease, Gransil SiWs combine elastomer, solvent, and emulsifier into one stable product, ultimately reducing the workload of the formulator.

These products can simply be combined to an aqueous phase or added to an existing emulsion for improved skin feel. Using a minimalistic approach, Grant’s proprietary process does away with most sensory drawbacks associated with traditional emulsifier based formulations. Gransil SiWs are cold mix compatible for added energy and cost savings, and allow for silicones and actives to be mixed in creative ways. New solvent options include the 100% Ecocert approved vegetable alkanes in Gransil SiW-GVL.
