Botanica is promoting extracts of almond blossom for skin softening effect in body lotions, hand creams and bath products.
The ingredients support applications for shampoos as well as skin care. The extracts are available as distillates, as standard extracts in glycerine/water or 10-fold concentrates (in pure plant-based glycerine), as tinctures and as extracts in oil. Almond blossom (above) contains essential oils, tanning agents, flavonoids, polysaccharides and amino acids.
