Naolys unleashes range of customisable exosomes

French cosmetic actives maker Naolys has launched the first product under its new ExoCell collection of customisable exosomes.

The range is the culmination of two years of its applied research programme with the University of Bordeaux.

The first product is Aethelis Granata, which leverages the biological power of pure exosomes extracted from pomegranate plant cells.

Naolys’ exosomes influence an innovative mechanism : the SUMOylation - a key posttranslational modification process that is linked to epigenetic regulation.

Through this pathway, Aethelis Granata has been proven to trigger a cascade of cellular responses: it supports chromatin organization, enhances DNA repair mechanisms, stimulates mitochondrial energy production, and reinforces intercellular communication - ultimately contributing to a visibly healthier, more resilient skin.

“The result is a profound and holistic effect: keratinocytes trigger a response that extends into the dermis, stimulating fibroblasts and promoting macromolecular synthesis,” said a Naolys spokeswoman.

“The skin is revitalized from within—more resilient, balanced, and visibly renewed," she added.

“Aethelis Granata embodies Naolys’ commitment to pushing the boundaries of plant biotechnology, offering brands a sophisticated biotech solution to meet the growing demand for smart, biomimetic skin care.”
