Strahl & Pitsch has developed an alternative blend to Candelilla wax which has demonstrated a favourable lipstick performance.
Lipsticks made using the company’s mass market formulation showed no measurable difference between the substitute and its SP-75 pure Candelilla wax. The company’s alternative blend development is in response to the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora commencement of a worldwide enforcement on any goods containing Candelilla wax sourced from the Euphorbia species.
