Malaysian chemicals company KLK Oleo has appointed Ralf Ewering as Chief Sustainability Officer Europe.
Ewering will drive and lead the development and delivery of the Europe region’s sustainability strategy to further establish KLK Oleo’s sustainability leadership in the oleochemical industry, it said.
Ewering has 27 years of experience in different managerial positions in the process industry and is working for 17 years in the oleochemical industry.
He holds a Master in Chemical Engineering from the Technical University of Dortmund.
“I’m excited to further drive momentum to KLK Oleo’s sustainability journey and work on the positive transition of our industry towards the people and our planet,” said Ewering.
KLK Oleo is the manufacturing division of Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad.
