The US Society of Cosmetic Chemists (SCC) has opened registration and hotel room block reservations for its 79th Annual Scientific Meeting & Showcase in New York City in December.
The organisation expects nearly 1,000 cosmetics and personal care industry attendees for two days of education, exhibits, awards, and networking on 16-17 December at the Sheraton New York Times Square.
“Back in the Big Apple to celebrate SCC’s 80th Anniversary, we have an outstanding educational program featuring innovations at the forefront of cosmetic science with sessions and keynotes you can’t afford to miss,” said SCC cheif executive Erica L. O’Grady.
“SCC’s annual meeting provides you access to industry and subject matter experts, solutions and innovations from exhibitors for your next product, and education that informs and inspires,” she added.
SCC79 features three keynotes and eight technical sessions with 40+ speakers covering a variety of the hottest topics in cosmetic science.
In addition to the education programme, exhibits will feature 125+ of the industry’s leading companies highlighting their latest ingredients, research, technologies, and services to key decision-makers and influencers.
The event will offer plenty of opportunities for networking and engaging with industry peers.
Scholarships and various industry awards recognizing scientific contributions and research will also be presented throughout the event to acknowledge peer achievements.
On Monday 15 December, the SCC’s 80th Anniversary Gala takes place at HK Hall from 7-11pm to celebrate 80 years of advancing cosmetic science.
