Jarchem Innovative Ingredients has unveiled two new personal care ingredients: Actique GlyAc70 and Vegecare CC.
Actique GlyAc70 is Jarcem’s 70% active, liquid form of glycolic acid that the New Jersey outfit claims a powerful alpha-hydroxy acid that rejuvenates the skin’s surface.
“It exfoliates dry skin, leaving it soft and smooth. The new addition to our active ingredient line retexturizes the skin to create a super supple feel,” it said.
Applications include skin care, serums, peels and masks, hair care and nail care.
Vegecare CC meanwhile is a dicaprylyl carbonate-based, fast-spreading emollient said to act as an excellent solubilizer, especially for UV filters and pigments.
Vegecare CC can be used as a silicone alternative due to its velvety, satin properties.
Applications include but are not limited to sun care, skin colour, colour cosmetics and hair care.
