Croda is launching to the market a new solution for safe and sustainable solar protection products, Solaveil MicNo, which combines all the benefits of micron-sized Zinc Oxide (ZnO) with transparency on skin.
This range of ZnO powders and dispersions is based on patented, platelet-shaped structures that ensure Solaveil MicNo particles are large enough to be suitable for natural and COSMOS approved formulations, whilst also being transparent on skin. This level of transparency makes them extremely versatile and suitable for a wide range of end applications and skin phototypes.

For the first time ever, it is possible to formulate highly transparent mineral sunscreen systems to meet the needs of consumers looking for natural and clean sunscreens.”
