Prize-winning moisturiser

Ichimaru Pharcos’s Chrono Chardy (Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Fruit Extract) won an award at in-cosmetics Asia in the Spotlight On Formulation Award Hydration Category. The formulation was prepared in cooperation with Nihon Emulsion.

Chrono Chardy is now a multi-awarded ingredient with previous awards from PCHi 2018 last February.

The 2017 Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine was given to the research on biological clock especially clock gene called PERIOD. Although, there are some cosmetic companies already target on skin clock, Ichimaru Pharcos, as a cosmetic active ingredient company is the first company to discover that the skin barrier function is controlled by the skin clock.

Chrono Chardy enhances the action of the skin clock genes, thereby promoting moisturised skin and improves skin barrier function during the day. At night, it works by increasing ceramide transportation and improves the skin’s recovery function. It also inhibits the pigmentation. Chrono Chardy is sourced from one of the best grape-growing areas in Nagano, Japan with 100% guaranteed traceability.
