The third edition of Cosmetorium will feature the participation of 126 companies in the sector offering visitors innovative developments in the cosmetics industry.
On 26 and 27 September 2018, Cosmetorium will celebrate its third edition marked by the growth of the exhibition area within the Palau de Congressos de Barcelona with exhibitors offering visitors innovation alongside infinite possibilities for business and networking during the event.
In parallel to the growth of the exhibition, the poster of activities also grows with the incorporation of several interactive workshops that will cover laboratory topics and that are added to the 36 Techfocus and 10 scientific conferences scheduled. This year the cycle of scientific conferences will address four thematic blocks:
Regulatory, Innovation and Science, Technology and Marketing. Experts from the sector will talk about beauty trends and the new perfumery, sustainable and intelligent design, scientific concepts such as garb ‘aging and endocrine disruptors in cosmetics, and current legislation about cosmetovigilance and animal experimentation.
As keynote speakers, Cosmetorium 2018 will have Prof. Dr. Nuria Chinchilla, professor of Managing People in Organizations at IESE, and doctor of neurobiology Mara Dierssen.
The Sociedade Portuguesa de Ciências Cosmetológicas (SPCC) will repeat collaboration within the Cosmetorium programme and will also organise a session of scientific presentations under the title ‘Portuguese natural resources for innovative cosmetics’.
Cosmetorium’s main objectives are to encourage the advancement of science and cosmetic technology in Spain. The Cosmetorium Awards aims to support the most innovative efforts and ideas in cosmetic formulation of the exhibiting companies and offer them a platform to make themselves known. First, second and third place will be awarded during the networking drinks on day one.
