Cosmetic pigments and functional fillers of Merck KGaA sold under the brand names Biron, Colorona and Timiron have been certified in compliance with the Ecocert standard.

Project will promote safety in China

China’s Ministry of Environmental Protection (MEP), the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and Dow Chemical (China) Investment Company Limited (Dow) have signed a joint project document to collaborate on promoting chemical safety and emergency preparedness in the chemical industry in China.

Research award for Indena

Database covers 15,000 ingredients

A new European Commission online cosmetic ingredients database will help companies developing new cosmetics or improving existing ones. The new database, called ‘CosIng’ (COSmetics INGredients), replaces the old PDF format list, one of the most consulted documents on the DG Enterprise website.
