Arizona Chemical, one of the world’s leading biorefiners of pine-based materials, announced it has entered into an exclusive agreement with Matsumoto Trading to distribute the company’s line of bio-based specialty polymers to the personal care industry in Japan.

Under the agreement, Matsumoto will offer Sylvaclear, Sylvasol and Uniclear specialty polymers, Arizona Chemical’s patented products that provide a broad range of functionality in personal care and cosmetics applications. “We are impressed with Matusmoto Trading’s long and distinguished history of achieving customer satisfaction by linking the latest technology and knowledge in the field with the development of advanced consumer products,” said Tom Fontana, director of specialty products for Arizona Chemical.
