BASF Beauty Care has launched a new seaweed extract called Osmogeline that is taken from red algae found in the waters of Canada, Chile and Mexico, and aims to promote softer, smoother skin.

The product has performed well in third party tests, showing efficacy in reducing redness and uneven skin tones, making it appropriate as a soothing agent in skin care formulations.
