Croda has launched OptaSense RMA-IS, a new liquid polymer pre-dispersion based on proprietary Croda technology that answers the market need for high performance rheology modification.
OptaSense RMA-IS provides highly efficient rheology modification, is extremely easy to use, and offers multiple performance benefits. A true multifunctional ingredient, it provides instant stabilisation as well as emulsification properties for a wide range of formulations. It maintains robust product integrity under challenging conditions and enhances the thermal stability of emulsions. It can be used in both hot and cold processes and may be added at different stages of the manufacturing process. OptaSense RMA-IS offers light emolliency and non-tacky skin feel, and does not significantly alter the intended skin feel of an emulsion. It therefore gives the formulator more freedom to design the sensory attributes of a formulation by appropriate selection and adjustment of emollients.
