Disproquima acquires Polish distributor Enzym

Spanish cosmetic ingredient distributor Disproquima has acquired Polish counterpart Enzym with a view to expanding its presence in central Europe.

The Barcelona outfit said Enzym, founded in 2015 near Łódź, is supported by a broad portfolio of high-quality cosmetic ingredients and long-standing relationships with customers and principals.

“Its technical and formulation know-how, combined with its customer-centric approach, aligns seamlessly with Disproquima’s values and long-term vision,” said a spokeswoman.

Following the acquisition, the business will continue to be led by Agnieszka Choynowska (pictured, left), former co-owner of Enzym, who will assume the role of country manager for Poland.

“Her deep market knowledge, leadership and strong industry relationships will be essential to ensuring continuity for employees, customers and principals, while also driving the next phase of growth under the Disproquima umbrella,” added the spokeswoman.

“We are excited to join forces with Disproquima. Our shared philosophy and approach to client relationships make this a natural and promising integration,” said Choynowska.

“With Disproquima’s global network and resources, we will be able to offer even more value, innovation and support to our partners across Poland," she added.

The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
