Seaton's, the vegetable oil supply subsidiary of speciality chemicals group Croda International, has launched Seaton's Illipe Butter (INCI - Shorea Stenoptera Seed Butter). Incorporated into sckin creams, the product will improve the elasticity of the skin through its moisturising properties.
Skin Softening Butter
Seaton's Illipé Butter originates in teh bountiful rain forests of Borneo where the Dayak people have gathered the Illipé fruit for centuries, well aware ot the skin doftening properties of the rich butter within.
Illipé butter differs from other butters, notably cocoa, in having a higher melting point allowing its application in lip balms and other stick products. The product is commercially available in a range of pack sizes with samples and a datasheet available on request.
