Croda is celebrating the release of Crodamol GTS, its next-generation, silicone-free ingredient for hair care launched last year.
Crodamol GTS is a 100% naturally derived, readily biodegradable emollient ester that delivers brilliant shine and smoothness across different hair types.
Since its debut at in-cosmetics Global 2024, Crodamol GTS has been redefining the standards of inclusive hair care, says the British maker.
It delivers shinier, smoother and more luxurious hair, helping beauty brands meet growing consumer demand for performance combined with sustainability.
In 9 out of 10 instances, a trained cosmetologist preferred hair treated with Crodamol GTS over dimethicone (200cSt).
Further instrumental testing proves that Crodamol GTS imparts superior shine on Type I, II, III hair and delivers perceivable smoothness on I, II, III and IV hair types.
This plant-based, radiance enhancing ingredient is an environmentally sustainable (100% naturally derived, vegan suitable and biodegradable) alternative to silicone.
Its performance is demonstrated on a variety of hair types, including textured hair, making it an inclusive ingredient for the hair care market.
