German personal care ingredient supplier Evident Ingredients has established a subsidiary in Paris, France.
Bettina Houy (pictured, centre) has been appointed as managing director to oversee operations and sales of Evident Ingredients France.
A MSc in organic chemistry and further studies in perfumery laid the foundation for a 20-year successful career in the personal care industry.
After four years in R&D and international sales at Alban Muller, Bettina moved to the distribution side and took various management positions with responsibility for the product management, sales and supply & logistics team.
After completing almost 15 years in management positions at Unipex/Barentz Bettina has joined Evident’s subsidiary in Paris.
“The two product lines perfectly fit into the modern requirements of French producers. With the Evicide line, we are focusing on a wide range of natural and modern preservatives, whereas the Evicare range covers functional ingredients like emulsifiers, thickeners, antioxidants, film-forming agents and actives,” she said.
The foundation of Evident Ingredients France comes five years after the start of the mother company in Germany.
With the office located close to Paris, the company is in the heart of France, and the team can reach out directly to the customers in the French market.
