The US Society of Cosmetic Chemists (SCC) is accepting nominations through the month of July for its 2025 Achievement Awards.
The prestigious awards will be presented to selected recipients at special events throughout the 79th Annual Scientific Meeting & Showcase at the Sheraton New York Times Square on 16-17 December.
Each winner will receive a complimentary full access registration to the event.
“These achievement awards honour significant contributions to the cosmetic sciences and to SCC, and are a lasting testament of hard work, dedication, and excellence,” said SCC chief executive Erica L. O’Grady.
“A highlight of our annual meeting is the peer recognition and celebration of the passion, people, and industry," she added.
SCC is accepting nominations for the following awards.
- Maison G. deNavarre Medal Award is the SCC's highest honour. It is named after SCC’s founder and recognizes an individual for accomplishments in activities supporting the best interests of the cosmetic industry through technical contributions. Membership in SCC is considered, but not required.
- Florence Wall Women In Cosmetic Chemistry Award recognizes a woman for significant accomplishments in the cosmetic industry through technical contributions, leadership skills, and business excellence. Membership in SCC preferred, but not required.
- SCC Education Award recognizes an individual making outstanding contributions to the field of cosmetic science education and mentorship. Membership in SCC required.
- Robert A. Kramer Lifetime Service Award recognizes an individual for extraordinary service to and distinguished leadership within Society activities over the course of their membership. Membership in SCC required.
- SCC Merit Award recognizes an individual for outstanding service, distinguished leadership, and exceptional contributions to the Society on a National level. Membership in SCC required.
Online nominations for each award are accepted until the end of 31 July.
