Nouryon has cut the ribbon on an innovation centre and expanded office footprint in Mumbai, India.
The new facilities nearly double the US firm’s previous office space to accommodate its rapidly growing global service centre.
The expanded Mumbai office space now occupies 100,000 square feet and hosts approximately 325 employees with room to further grow.
The innovation centre will cater to key end markets including personal and home care, paints and coatings, and agriculture.
In home and personal care, the innovation centre will support advanced applications for surfactants, chelating agents, fabric softener actives, hair styling polymers, and starches.
Nouryon sales and global research and development teams will partner closely with customers to provide technical support.
“India represents a vital market for Nouryon, and the launch of our new Innovation Centre and expanded office presence in Mumbai reflects our commitment to fostering innovation and growth in this dynamic region,” said Charlie Shaver, Nouryon chairman and CEO (pictured, left).
“Our strengthened presence will ensure that Nouryon remains well-positioned to drive growth both in India and globally. It will also enable us to develop and promote innovative and sustainable solutions that meet the evolving needs of customers across the Indian Subcontinent, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East,” he added.
