Grapefruit extract launched

Qenax AG, a new supplier of active ingredients, has launched a product named Cayoma Grapefruit.

Grapefruit contains high amounts of bioflavonoids like hesperidin, naringenin and narirutin. Beside antioxidative and anti-inflammatory activities, grapefruit induces the formation of phase II enzymes that provide detoxifying properties against toxins and chemicals. The bioflavonoids of Cayoma Grapefruit significantly stimulate the formation of these phase II enzymes and help to dispose cellular waste. The energy level of the cells improves, and their life span is prolonged. Cayoma Grapefruit is an aqueous alcoholic extract from fruit and peel of Citrus paradisi, and is preservative-free with more than 10% bioflavonoids. The high actives level leads to the recommended use concentration of 0.1%-0.5%. Qenax was founded at the end of 2007 in Zug, Switzerland. It develops and markets high value cosmetic actives. The added value of these products is confirmed by the quality of efficacy tests, claims, individuality and flexibility. The intention of Qenax is to provide customers with effective ingredients for cosmetics that meet the requirements of increasingly demanding consumers.
