Microphyt will unveil its two new products dedicated to scalp and skin imperfections in the French pavilion (booth #1R85) at In-Cosmetics Global. Visitors will have the chance to discover and try out cosmetics formulas containing these new patented microalgae active ingredients that promote skin and scalp health and well-being.
Whether on the skin or the scalp, imperfections no longer have a place in our daily lives. Over the past year, Microphyt has been focusing on visible pores and blackheads, persistent imperfection marks and dry dandruff. As such, it has come up with two new ingredients to take control of these imperfections.
- DunaPure™ is a 3-in-1 approach to support blemish-prone skin. This astringent active ingredient that is bio-inspired from an Arctic microalgae purifies pores, soothes and reduces marks to reveal the skin’s true beauty.
- Luteana™ scalp is a precious oil-based bioactive boasting a synergy of powerful marine molecules to target sensitive scalp. This innovative solution stops the spread of dry dandruff and helps to restore a healthy scalp with a long-lasting effect.
The company’s patented technology enables the cultivation of any kind of microalgae, even delicate strains that were previously deemed unviable. Its research based on a biomimetic approach focuses on drawing inspiration from microalgae to identify specific molecules – secondary metabolites naturally produced by adaptive microalgae – that target promising pathways to improve human well-being. Microphyt’s cosmetic active ingredients are produced in environmentally controlled eco-friendly photobioreactors and are free from GMOs, pollutants and pesticides.
