Lipoid Kosmetik has unveiled usNeo, a microbiome-friendly ingredient for protection against odour, blemishes and dandruff.
The Swiss manufacturer says the ingredient is an effective and gentle alternative for microbial control.
“Healthy skin contains thousands of different microbial species living in a balanced, sustaining and skin-supporting ecosystem, the skin microbiome,” said a spokeswoman.
“An imbalance of the skin microbiome leads to overpopulation of certain bacteria causing unwanted skin conditions, such as body odour, blemishes or dandruff,” she added.
