The organiser of the 34th International Federation of Societies of Cosmetic Chemists (IFSCC) Congress is inviting abstracts for the event in Brazil on 15-17 October next year.
The theme of the 2024 gathering, which takes place in Foz do Iguaçu in Parana state, is ‘Biodiversity and Cosmetics: Reaching Sustainable Technologies’.
Within that theme, the IFSCC is calling for abstracts in the following topics:
- Skin & hair science
- Safety, efficacy, sensory & neurosensory evaluations
- Formulation, application & microbiome
- Sustainability, biodiversity & new ingredients
The deadline for abstracts is 31 December 2023.
The four-day event is expected to feature over 1,000 high-level participants with more than 50 podium presentations and over 400 scientific posters.
There will also be two educational workshops given by Boticário and L’Oréal.
