Miyoshi America takes the wraps off MiyoHAZE White

Miyoshi America has launched MiyoHAZE White, an alternative opacifying ingredient to titanium dioxide.

The company says MiyoHAZE White (INCI: Magnesium Potassium Titanate) is a white, high coverage composite powder that is very similar to the light reflection pattern of titanium dioxide.

“Chemists often have difficulty finding high opacity, pure white powders for their formulations that remain true to colour in both wet and dry conditions, a key point to developing liquid foundations,” it added.

“To combat this, Miyoshi America has developed MiyoHAZE White, an innovative, multi-functional opacifying powder that can be used in a wide range of cosmetic products.”

Miyoshi says MiyoHAZE White can be surface treated to provide additional value-added benefits such as strong hydrophobicity, high coverage and enhanced feel.

MiyoHAZE White is recommended for liquid foundations and tinted moisturizers. It blocks IR rays and provides smooth texture.

It has a shelf life of three years from the date of manufacture.
