Laksi Oy, a Finnish maker of Nordic ingredients, has selected Florida outfit SMA Collaboratives to promote its products in North America.
Laksi uses fermentation methods coupled with scientific collaborations with Finnish technical institutes to create wild berry oils and extracts, pristine area-grown mushrooms complexes and also speciality ingredients such as vegan-based collagens and natural polyhydroxy acid for skin care.
Their principle guide is the “Nordic beauty as natural and minimalist with a common focus on elements of wellbeing with the desire to be sustainable, ethical, environmentally conscious, and clean,” a spokesman said.
The Finnish company added SMA Collaboratives was chosen for its “ability in providing a local source to fulfil demand, provide technical support by the use of its applications lab, and ultimately by its friendly and proactive customers and sales service”.
