NAGASE Personal Care will be introducing 4 new functional ingredients at in-cosmetics® Global at Innovation Zone and Makeup Bar next week. All ingredients are produced with sustainable concept for skin care, makeup and hair styling applications.
Micromica MK-100K-C: A new functional base powder developed from upcycling resources. It is produced with an innovative technology utilizing potassium fluorosilicate, a by-product of fertilizer to enhance the properties and qualities of conventional base powders. Its outstanding features are:
1) Safe for the environment: upcycling resources
2) Safe for us: Asbestos and crystalline silica free
3) Natural and comfortable texture from uniform and circular particle
4) Better transparency for natural finish
Micromica MK-100K-C can be used as a safe alternative to talc and provides more benefits than talc.
RUBLALEAF™ KCX-5000: A natural, sustainable sensory enhancer designed to provide qualities and physical effect similar to traditional microplastic beads (MPBs).
MPBs are widely used in colour cosmetics, sun care and skin care, but due to stricter regulations, there were no alternatives in the market that can match their performances until RUBLALEAF™ KCX-5000.
RUBLALEAF™ KCX-5000 was developed with unique technology to form cellulose fibers into spherical beads. It offers 3 main characteristics and benefits:

Lissenare™: A naturally derived hair styling ingredient offering flexible creations with firm hold. Additionally, Lissenare can be used for hair treatment to repair damaged hair.
Using fermentation process, it is a functional saccharide derived from starch composed mainly of isomalto-oligosaccharide which exists in many Japanese fermented food and ”Japanese sake”.
Lissenare is suitable for hair styling and treatment products with sustainable concepts. It is bio-degradable and meets ISO16128 natural standards.
