Cosmetics feature at drugstore event

The recently held 8th Japan Drugstore Show featured a number of large cosmetic companies such as Nihon L’Oréal, Unilever Japan, Shiseido, Kao, Kanebo and Kosé, writes Kunio Shimada of the NOF Corporation.

The event was held by the Japan Association of Chain Drug Stores at five exhibition halls in the Japan Convention Center (Makuhari Messe) located in the sightseeing area of Chiba, and the number of visitors was recorded as 128,859.

The 9th Japan Drugstore Show will be held at the Japan Convention Center from 13 to 15 March 2009.
