Switzerland’s DKSH has acquired the distribution business of Spanish firm HealthTech BioActives (HTBA), which produces and distributes a flavours, ingredients, additives and intermediates to the food, pharmaceutical and personal care industry.
This business has sales of about CHF 6 million/year. It will be fully integrated it into existing operations in Spain and Portugal.
DKSH’s Performance Materials business unit has also extended an existing agreement with Elementis and will now market Elementis’ entire range of speciality ingredients for personal care products, including antiperspirant actives, in Belgium. The two firms have been working together for 40 years and had previously extended this agreement into France in 2020.
