Japanese firms Kao and Kosé have agreed to “embark on comprehensive collaboration in the cosmetics sustainability domain”. This is in addition to their existing individual commitments.
The two companies will henceforth collaborate in various fields related to environmental protection and the resource-circulating society and social challenges. These include:
- Sourcing materials with limited environmental impact
- Jointly deploying and coordinate awareness-raising activities relating to skin care, UV care and respect for beauty diversity
- Incorporating a wide range of environmentally friendly materials into product packaging
- Promoting resource circulation and upcycling measures jointly
