Helping frontline staff and the community

In a pledge to support the frontline fight against the spread of Covid-19 virus, DSM donated 1 million RMB to the Chinese Red Cross Foundation. The funds are used to purchase medical supplies and equipment in short supply for frontline medical personnel. In addition, DSM also donated 2 batches of vitamin C products – 6 million chewable tablets to medical personnel and 100 million pills to help boost the citizen’s immune system in China.

In the Netherlands, DSM produced and donated 260,000 bottles of hand sanitizers to support the local hospitals and medical facilities in their fight against coronavirus.

In Singapore, the Personal Care & Aroma (PCA) Ingredients team formulated moisturising hand sanitiser in the fully set-up Asia Pacific Application Center and distributed them to the employees as hand sanitizer were sold out in the country.

“At DSM, we always aspire to make small contributions to the society that we live. Doing Something Meaningful is in our genes,” commented Yusuke Saito, Director, Personal Care & Aroma Ingredients, APAC.
