Enhancing consumer experiences

At the first PCHi show in Mumbai, India, Cognis Care Chemicals and its active ingredients business Laboratoires Sérobiologiques exhibited a range of new products and concepts.

These included the Lamesoft Care power conditioning concept, the new Dermican anti-ageing active ingredient, and Polyquart PRO smart additives for hard surface cleaners. These products, and indeed the entire Cognis booth, reflected the company’s new Feelosophy approach, which focuses on four key dimensions of a holistic product experience: perception, feel, effect and usage.

The wellness trend is a key driver of growth in the global home and personal care markets, states Cognis. It adds that, as the markets continue to grow, consumer requirements are becoming ever more sophisticated as people seek pleasant product experiences that appeal to all their senses.
