Imerys Filtration & Performance Additives Europe has announced that its ImerCare Scrub range derived from natural perlite has been registered according to Cosmos natural and organic cosmetics standards.
This accreditation underscores the ‘naturalness’ of the minerals selected and produced by Imerys for the cosmetics industry, offering new development opportunities. ImerCare Scrub already has Ecocert certification.
The ImerCare Scrub range is based on natural perlite, a form of natural volcanic glass which combines the hardness and absorption power of lava rock with the gentle softness conferred by its minute spherical particles. It is an eco-friendly solution and has been designed in response to the current market shift away from oil-derived exfoliation products.
